Check out this new remix of Hot Chip, One Life Stand from legendary Detroit techno producer Carl Craig. The track is off their upcoming album of the same name out 2/9/2010. This Carl Craig PCP Remix starts out pretty basic with a classic acid bass line then meanders into a nice trippy break and slowly builds with guitar stabs and snares. Only until the 5:53 mark of the 10 minute track do the vocals drop and only for about 2 minutes. DFA fans will rejoice in this track, mirroring some resemblance to the recent 45:33 The Remixes.

Download Black Moth Super Rainbow’s Remix of Air “Sing Sang Sung” off the new album Love 2. BMSR definitely add a bit of their signature experimentalism to the track… as well as a little dark-danceability and just enough fuzzing static to keep it gritty without pushin it over the distortion edge.

Bloc Party
Bloc Party will be releasing a new remix album on May 11th. It will include remixed tracks from their third album, “Intimacy”. ‘Intimacy Remixed’ will be available digitally, on limited edition CD or triple 12”. The album will include remixes by Gold Panda, Mogwai and Filthy Dukes and will lead off with a remix of ‘Signs’ by Armand Van Helden which will be released on the 27th of April.
