FeelingPulledApartByHorses, a solo two track release from Thom Yorke (Radiohead) is out today. Think of Yorke’s solos as the more emo-tronic,  IDM side of the the self-proclaimed, depressed artist. FeelingPulledApartByHorses no doubt describes an ongoing inner struggle felt by Yorke and most definetly should be followed up with a proper full length release.

When Radiohead released In Rainbows they only made one of two discs available. The second disc of tracks only showed up in the In Rainbows box set, priced only for true collectors. Now the band has announced the In Rainbows CD2  is available digitally @ waste.uk.com for £6.00 (about $9.55). The disc contains 8 tracks and although may not quite measure up to the first disc, it still has it’s place for Radiohead fans. The band is also selling three other album downloads: The original In Rainbows, Thom Yorke‘s The Eraser, and Jonny Greenwood‘s There Will Be Blood soundtrack.

Radiohead won the Best Alternative Album Award for their record, ‘In Rainbows’. They also performed a song from the album, ’15 Step.’ This would be the band’s first ever performance at the Grammys. Their performance was backed by the University of Southern California (USC)’s renowned marching band. Radiohead beat out competition from: Beck – ‘Modern Guilt’, Gnarls Barkley – ‘The Odd Couple’, Death Cab For Cutie – ‘Narrow Stairs’, My Morning Jacket – ‘Evil Urges’.
