Generator Solar Powered Laptop Case

Solar Charge Laptop Bag

The new “Generator” bag; the first solar bag powerful enough to charge a laptop, using high efficiency solar cells. Not only will it charge laptop, but your entire mobile office, including cell phones and most other handheld electronics. Common adaptors are included for connection to laptops, phones and other handheld devices, or one can connect via USB or car charger.

With this case your not just going to save on your electric bill and reduce your carbon footprint…but you’ll also be sporting a bag where the fabrics are made from 100% PET (you know, those empty soda bottles you so diligently recycled) which is light weight, extremely durable, UV resistant and water resistant. Most importantly, it uses significantly less energy to produce than nylon and creates demand for recycled materials. Nice.

Although the initial cost may be a little steep for some…think of the money and resources you’ll save in the long-run. Besides that, think of all the attention you’ll receive with your uber-cool, eco-fashion statement. Perfect if you ride a bike or scooter to work and you recently claimed that sunny, corner office with all the windows… Available in two colors.

Ableton Live had plenty to announce at this year’s Winter NAMM conference. First, of course, they’re announcing Ableton Live 8 and Ableton Suite 8. With a great new intuative warping engine. They’ve also announced a dedicated controller for Live from Akai, the APC40 (Ableton Performance Controller), as well as Max For Live, a collaboration with Cycling ’74 that allows you to do Max programming within Ableton’s sequencer. Basically, allowing you to build and create your own effects and instruments from scratch, leaving Ableton Live even more limitless.

AK87/91 Assault Guitar

AK87/91 Assault Guitar

Talk about a stage presence, you could take hostages with this thing (or maybe just unwilling groupies). I mean, yes, it’s a tad over-the-top and extremely ridiculous; but come on, it’s rock and roll. Previewed at Winter NAMM 09, the AK87/91 Assault Guitar comes equipped with a flame thrower and roman candles…and it plays. It’s made by Johnson Guitars and they carry a few other machine gun guitars with a more “classic” feel.
