Information has recently been leaked that law enforcement agencies have been provided an open portal to track the location of sprint cell phone users. There was 8 million requests within an 18 month period. Not necessarily 8 million customers, but 8 million pings; which Sprint has admitted, but has not clarified how many actual individuals nave been tracked. Law enforcement was able to use this information without the use of a warrant.
